Two men who have done more than just about any others to transform the State of Mississippi — and who both happen to have new books — will be signing at Square Books in Oxford at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 12th.
Former Governor William Winter, best known for his strong support of public education, freedom of information, racial reconciliation, and historic preservation, will be signing his biography, William Winter and the New Mississippi (University Press, $35).
Governor Winter will be joined by Chancellor Emeritus Robert Khayat who will be signing his bestselling memoir The Education of a Lifetime (Nautilus, $24.95).
The two gentlemen — who also happen to be great friends — will share a table at the main Square Books store at 11:00 am this Saturday prior to the Texas A&M v. Ole Miss game.
