Man Charged With DUI After Running Red Light

On Saturday, the Oxford Police Department arrested and charged Robert Hawks with Running a Red Light and Driving Under the Influence (4th).

Hawks was originally stopped by officers for running the light on University Avenue. A DUI investigation was initiated to determine if Hawks was safe to drive. He was subsequently arrested and charged. His bond was set at $5,000 by a Lafayette County Justice Court judge.
