University Police Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 fight
1 suspicious vehicle
1 larceny
1 harassment
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:50 a.m. – Behind Kroger – patient fell from water tower (I hope he is going to be ok)
10:40 a.m. – Hermitage Gardens – cutting concrete activated a smoke detector
2:43 p.m. – Faulkner Flats Bldg. 3 – alarm tech changing the battery in a detector activated the detector
3:21 p.m. – Rooster’s – an upstairs a/c unit caught fire – fire was out upon arrival
7:43 p.m. – Sigma Phi Epsilon House room 211 – resident smoking in the room activated the smoke detector
