Profiles of Lafayette County Elections Will Begin Running Today

On Tuesday, Lafayette County voters will head to the polls for the general election that could change several seats on the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors, bring in a new sheriff and House and Senate representatives and other county and state offices.
Hottytoddy.com will begin running stories today on local elections to help residents decide who to cast their vote for on Tuesday.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m on Tuesday. A photo ID is required to vote.
Several county incumbents will run unopposed but will be included on Tuesday’s ballot, including Chancery Clerk Sherry Wall, Coroner Rocky Kennedy, County Attorney Jay Chain, Constable Central District Jody Mayfield, Constable Northern District Greg Pettis, Constable Southern District Jack E. Theobald, Justice Court Judge Northern Central District Mickey Avent and Justice Court Judge Southern District Johnny Wayne McLarty.
Democratic and Republican ballots are available to view online.
