Oxford Police Department issued 68 tickets, investigated 33 wrecks and the following reports:

9 suspicious activities
1 suspicious person

Officers made the following arrests:
1 No driver’s license and no insurance
1 possession of marijuana with a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and one head lift
1 possession of marijuana with intent
3 possessions of drug paraphernalia
1 public drunk
1 violation of a leash law

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 sexual battery
2 writs to take into custody

University Police Department investigated four wrecks and responded to one medical call.

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:15 a.m. – Pi Beta Phi house – kitchen smoke detector malfunction
9:40 a.m. – 1422 Filmore – carbon monoxide detector malfunction
10:08 a.m. – BMH – smoke detector malfunction in the ambulance building
10:24 a.m. – 1017 Inverness Lane – workers activated a smoke detector
10:41 a.m. – Ole Miss Parking Garage – southeast side smoke detector malfunction
4:21 p.m. – Student Union – McAlister’s – smoke detector outside a cooler malfunction
2:30 a.m. – Phi Mu House room 16 – smoke detector malfunction
5:02 a.m. – Vaught Hemingway Stadium – bad light ballast smoking which activated a smoke detector
