OPD Searching for Missing Oxford Man

Police are searching for a man they say went missing over the weekend in Oxford.

Family members say Homer Myers, 73, was last seen Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 p.m. at his home at Twin Gates off CR 401. OPD received the missing person’s call Monday, Aug. 26 at 7 a.m.

The family stated Myers had no known medical conditions or personal means of transportation. They describe him as 5’7” and 190 lbs.

“We are asking for the public’s assistance in any information that could lead to the location of Homer,” said Hildon Sessums, Captain of the Oxford Police Department.
