OPD made the following arrests:
1 discharging of firearms in city limits
1 DUI, suspended driver’s license and no insurance
1 DUI, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving and speeding
1 possession of a schedule 2 drug, careless driving and failure to use turning signal
3 for trespassing
1 warrant served, no tag and no insurance

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrest for violating a protection order, investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Oxford Fire Department responded at 7:33 a.m. for a smoke detector malfunction on the first-floor elevator pit.
