Former Ole Miss basketball guard Terence Davis was picked up by the Denver Nuggets as an undrafted free agent on Friday.
Davis will get to showcase his talents on the court in the Las Vegas Summer League as a part of Denver’s backcourt.
Going into the draft, Davis was hopeful to be one of the 60 players drafted in this season’s NBA draft but was not selected.
“TD has a great opportunity with the Nuggets,” Ole Miss head basketball coach Kermit Davis said. “He now is going to showcase his talents while trying to make the team.”
The Southaven, Mississippi native is coming off a breakthrough season with 15.2 points per game, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists to rank tenth in the SEC to add to his All-SEC second team achievement. Among his 2019 achievements, Davis garnered SEC Player of the Week and landed a spot on the SEC Community Service Team.
During his tenure, he scored over 1,500 points in an Ole Miss uniform.
The summer league tips off on July 5 and runs until July 15. Denver takes on Phoenix at 10:30 p.m. C.T. on ESPN in their first summer league game.
