Oxford Police Department issued 31 tickets, investigated four wrecks and the following reports:
2 911 hang-ups
5 alarms
1 ambulance assist
1 animal complaint
3 burglaries
1 civil matter
3 disturbing the peace complaints
1 domestic disturbance
1 larceny
1 motorist assist
1 property damage
1 simple assault
2 suspicious activities
1 suspicious person
2 welfare checks
OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 discharging a firearm in the city
2 petty thefts
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 information
1 juvenile complaint
1 reckless driving
13 service calls
3 transports
5 welfare concerns
University Police Department investigated one report of a suspicious vehicle and conducted four traffic stops.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2 p.m. – Home Depot – customer passed out – was alert when FD arrived – monitored until EMS arrived
5:11 p.m. – 715 South 8th Street – call canceled
11:52 p.m. – 2238 Lee Loop – trouble breathing – no ambulance immediately available – provided oxygen and monitored until EMS arrived
