1 lost property
1 malicious mischief

1 suspicious activity
1 suspicious vehicle
2 suspicious people
2 welfare checks

Officers made the following arrests:
1 public drunk
1 shoplifting

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 simple assault
2 alarms
2 animal complaints
1 residential burglary
1 disturbance
1 domestic violence
1 grand larceny
1 information
1 noise complaint
1 petty theft
1 reckless driving
1 road obstruction
1 suspicious vehicle
1 traffic complaint
1 transport

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 possession of a controlled substance
1 driving with license suspended
1 domestic violence

University Police Department conducted six traffic stops.

Oxford Fire Department firefighters responded to the following calls:
10:28 a.m. – 204 Town Center (Highland Square Apts.) alarm company testing the systems
12:29 p.m. – Croft Institute – first-floor stairwell smoke detector malfunction
12:53 p.m. – Vaught Hemingway Stadium Ground Level Kitchen – cooking activated a smoke detector
5:57 p.m. – Mary Cathey Headstart – waxing floors activated the general fire alarm
8:59 p.m. – 45 Aspen Loop – upstairs hallway smoke detector malfunction
12:08 a.m. Residential Hall 3 – shower steam activated a smoke detector
