Officers made the following arrests:
1 abuse to 911
1 DUI, speeding, no insurance, driving while license suspended
1 DUI, driving while license suspended and seat belt violation
1 DUI-second
2 for fake ID and minor in possession of alcohol
1 fake ID and speeding
1 public drunk, resisting arrest, failure to comply and simple assault
2 warrants served

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department took one person into custody on a writ, investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
8:10 a.m. – Campus Creek – a smoke detector malfunction
1:44 a.m. – ATO house – smoke detector malfunction
