Oxford Police Department issued 10 tickets, made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:

1 domestic violence-simple assault
1 disturbing the peace
1 improper parking
1 suspicious person
2 suspicious activities
1 domestic disturbance
1 ambulance assist
1 K9 search
1 vehicle search
1 fire department assist

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
1 agency assist
3 alarms
2 animal complaints
1 follow-up
1 harassment
1 juvenile complaint
1 noise complaint
3 petty thefts
1 reckless driving
1 road obstruction
1 service call
1 sexual assault
3 transports
1 trespassing

University Police Department investigated four wrecks and the following reports:
1 larceny
1 ambulance call
1 possession of drug paraphernalia

Officers made the following arrests:
1 public drunk
1 public drunk, fake ID and resisting arrest

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
7:00 a.m. – Highway 7 at University Ave. – car fire – FD extinguished the fire
5:10 p.m. – The Connection Bldg. 3 – workers repairing the alarm system activated the water flow alarm
8:02 p.m. – The Graduate Hotel – call canceled
