Oxford Police Department issued 96 tickets, investigated 19 wrecks and the following reports:

1 discharging firearm in city limits
18 disturbing the peace complaints
3 domestic disturbances
6 improper parking complaints
2 K9 searches

2 malicious mischief complaints

1 reported gunshots
2 simple assaults
11 suspicious activities
4 suspicious people
3 suspicious vehicles
1 theft from a motor vehicle
2 vehicle searches
6 welfare concerns
OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 domestic violence with simple assault
1 DUI
2 DUI and careless driving
1 DUI and running a stop sign
1 DUI, careless driving and no insurance
1 DUI and no seat belt
1 DUI-third, suspended driver’s license, no insurance and speeding
1 leaving the scene of a wreck and no insurance
1 minor in possession of alcohol and falsifying information
1 open container
1 possession of marijuana with intent, running a red light and K9 search
1 possession of marijuana with intent
1 possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and speeding
2 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and suspended driver’s license
7 public drunks
1 public drunk and failure to comply
1 shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia
1 simple assault
1 simple assault and failure to comply
1 trespassing and warrant served
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

2 disturbances
1 petit larceny
2 juvenile complaints
9 service calls
9 suspicious activities
1 welfare concern

1 trespassing
3 information
4 follow up
2 civil matters
Deputies made the following arrests:
1 DUI and leaving the scene of a wreck
1 possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle
University Police Department served a warrant, investigated five wrecks and the following reports:
1 suspicious person
4 ambulances needed
2 harassments
1 disturbance
4 suspicious vehicles
2 EMS for intoxicated persons
UPD officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI and reckless driving
1 disorderly conduct and fake ID
1 possession of alcohol by a person under 21
3 public drunks
1 public drunk and possession of a fake ID
2 for possession of drug paraphernalia
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2/1 – 1413 South Lamar Blvd. – call canceled
2/1 – Kappa Delta House room 21 – hair dryer activated a smoke detector
2/2 – 212 Karen Loop – chest pains – monitored until EMS arrived
2/2 – Walnut Hills – possible stroke – monitored until EMS arrived
2/2 – Phi Kappa Psi house room 212 – smoking in the room (they had a solo cup covering the detector trying to keep it quiet)
2/2 – 121 Peyton Circle – cooking activated a smoke detector
2/3 – Uncommon No. 214 – cleaning activated a smoke detector
2/3 – 800 Park Apts. No. 1302 – sink malfunction flooded it and the two apartments below
2/4 – 7000 Archive – first-floor elevator smoke detector malfunction
2/4 – South Lamar Court – 200A – elevator shaft heat detector malfunction
