Ole Miss (13-2, 3-0) puts a ten game winning streak on the line when they take the court this evening. The Rebels are coming off of an 81-77 victory over then No. 14 Mississippi State on Saturday. The win put Ole Miss in the top 25 for the first time since 2013.

Freshman Blake Hinson had a career-high 26 points against Mississippi State. His teammate senior Terence Davis enters the contest as the reigning SEC Player of the Week.

Coach Kermit Davis spent time with the Tigers as an associate head coach from 1998-2002 before going to Middle Tennessee. During his time in Baton Rouge LSU made a run to the NCAA Sweet 16 in the 1999-2000 season.

LSU comes to Oxford with an overall record of 12-3 and a 2-0 mark in conference. The Tigers are coming off of a 94-88 victory over Arkansas on the road after defeating Alabama at home. LSU averaged 91.0 ppg during the two contests to pace the SEC in scoring through the first two weeks of conference play.

The Skylar Mays, Tremont Waters and Naz Reid trio averaged over 13 points per game to lead the Tigers in scoring. Mays leads the team in three-point shooting (40.6 percent) and free throw shooting (88.1 percent), while Waters ranks fourth nationally with 3.0 steals per game.

The series with the Tigers, which began in 1909, is the second-longest in Ole Miss basketball history. LSU leads the all-time series 121-88. The Rebels have won eight of the last 13 meetings over the Bayou Bengals, including five of the last six in Oxford. Ole Miss holds a 55-34 advantage in Oxford, winning the only matchup in the three-year history of The Pavilion 96-76 (Feb. 14, 2017). LSU won last season’s battle 82-66 in Baton Rouge (Feb. 10, 2018).

Out-of-town fans can listen to the call on the Ole Miss Radio Network or watch all the action on the SEC Network.
