Oxford Police Department issued 52 tickets, investigated eight wrecks and the following reports:

OPD officers made the following arrests:
1 disorderly conduct, speeding and no insurance
1 DUI
1 DUI and careless driving
1 DUI, possession of schedule 2 drug and open container
1 DUI and suspended driver’s license
1 DUI-second, minor in possession of drug paraphernalia and open container
1 minor in possession of alcohol, fake ID and public drunk
1 possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended driver’s license, no tag and no insurance
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
2 public drunks
2 warrants served
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
1 simple assault
2 alarms
4 animal complaints
1 auto burglary
6 disturbances
2 domestic violence complaints
1 harassment
3 juvenile complaints
3 malicious mischief
5 service calls
16 suspicious activities
3 welfare concerns
1 traffic complaint
University Police Department investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
2 suspicious people
1 petty theft
1 vandalism to a vehicle
1 burglary of a vehicle
1 harassment
2 disturbances
1 ambulance needed for intoxicated person
2 suspicious vehicles
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11:16 – 11:26 a.m. – Northgate A223 – shower steam activated smoke detector
11/16 – 12:55 p.m. – Rainbow Cleaners area – wreck with injury – monitored vitals until EMS arrived
11/16 – 1:43 p.m. – Oxford Health & Rehab – call cancelled
11/16 – 3:27 p.m. – 1507 White Oak Lane – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
11/16 – 9:51 p.m. – Walgreens – employees thought a fire alarm was activated – it was the door opening alarm malfunctioning
11/17 – 1:37 p.m. – 116 Price Hill Road – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
11/17 – 3:29 p.m. – 1618 Jackson Ave. East – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
11/17 – 5:44 – 926 Molly Barr Rd. No. 1 – medical call – monitored patient until EMS arrived
11/18 – 4:18 p.m. – 21 Effie Circle – medical call – EMS already on scene
11/18 – 6:50 p.m. – 207 St. Andrews Circle – smoke detector activation due to fireplace not vented properly
11/18 – 8 p.m.- 1606 Grand Oaks – fire alarm malfunction
