On the Ballot: Precinct Locations for Oxford and Lafayette

Precincts in Oxford and Lafayette County for today’s election have not changed due to the recent annexation; however, earlier this year the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors approved moving a District 4 precinct.

Residents who live in District 4 will be voting at the Lafayette County Civic Center. Formally known as the Men’s Civic Center, the building is located off Highway 6 West at 14 Tommie Collie Jane Road.

County leaders began searching for a new precinct after University of Mississippi officials informed the county they didn’t want to be affiliated with the political aspects of voting precincts in their building.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voters must bring a valid form of photo identification such as a driver’s license or a student ID.
