The Ole Miss baseball team plays host to in-state foe Delta State at Swayze Field for a fall scrimmage game Saturday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m.
Admission is free and fans are encouraged to come cheer on the Rebels in one of two scrimmages played against outside competition this fall. These two clubs will play a 12-inning game to allow adequate innings and plate appearances for their pitchers and hitters.
The Statesmen, who spent much of last year topping national Division II rankings with a 42-11 record, will be a welcomed challenge for the Rebels who have competed solely against their own teammates this fall.
Fans will be able to park in the lot across from the stadium as well as the lot behind left field. Gates open at 11 a.m.
