Need a QUICK & EASY last-minute app for The Grove?! There won’t be any of these bacon babies left! A crowd favorite for sure. Hotty Toddy, y’all!
Sweet & Spicy Bacon Crackers
(Easily doubled or tripled)
1-sleeve (32 crackers) Club or ‘butter’ crackers
8 slices thick-cut bacon, cut into ¼’s
½ – ¾ cup brown sugar (roughly ½ – 1 teaspoon per cracker)
Cayenne pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Using a sheet pan, place a wire rack on top and arrange crackers on a wire rack. You can line the bottom with aluminum foil for easy cleanup! Try not to let the crackers touch each other!
Place a ¼ slice of bacon on each cracker. Using a teaspoon measuring spoon, scoop brown sugar about ½ to full and gently press onto each piece of bacon.
Sprinkle LIGHTLY with cayenne pepper, as this can become too spicy quickly!
Bake 35-45 minutes until bacon is glazed, sugar is melted, and crackers are slightly browned.
