2 disturbing the peace complaints

1 phone harassment
1 suspicious activity
1 suspicious person
2 welfare checks
Officers made arrests on the following charges:
1 for domestic violence with simple assault
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department took one person into custody on a Chancery Court writ, investigated one wreck and the following reports:
1 grand larceny
1 harassment
2 service calls
3 suspicious activities
1 welfare concern
2 follow-ups
1 fraud
1 reckless driving
1 road obstruction
1 civil matter
3 assistance calls
6 papers served
University Police Department conducted five traffic stops and investigated a report of trespassing.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
At 6:43 a.m. to 200 Price St. for a medical assist
At 11:11 a.m. to Phi Kappa Tau house after someone cutting sheetrock activated the smoke detector
At 2:17 p.m. to First Presbyterian Church for a false alarm
