Officers made the following arrests:
1 DUI and speeding
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks, made one arrest for contempt of court and investigated the following reports:

1 assistance call
23 papers served
University Police Department investigated a report of larceny and conducted three traffic stops.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
At 8:50 a.m. to the Oxford-University United Methodist Church for an alarm but a church member advised they were testing the system
At 12:44 p.m. to West Jackson Avenue and Hathorn Road for a wreck; assisted EMS with one patient
At 2:33 p.m. to Highland Place for an upstairs smoke detector malfunction
