Oxford Police Department investigated 10 wrecks, issued 51 tickets and investigated the following reports:

Officers made the following arrests:

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

10 service calls
4 suspicious activities
7 welfare checks

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 DUI, no driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia
1 domestic violence with simple assault
1 out-of-county warrant
1 robbery warrant
University Police Department performed six traffic stops and investigated one report of a suspicious person and one report of a suspicious vehicle.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
At 4:22 p.m. Friday to The Blake for a person stuck in the elevator due to power lines down
At 6:14 p.m. Friday to 1204 Horne Road for a medical call
At 7:23 p.m. Friday to 1101 Frontage Road for a vehicle fire; no cause found
On Friday (no time available) to 388 CR 245 for a wreck with no injuries
At 5:42 p.m. Saturday to Oxford Health and Rehab after burned popcorn
At 10:26 a.m. Sunday to Highway 7 South to the High Point Coffee area for a wreck with no entrapment
