Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following reports:

1 suspicious activity/persons

2 follow-ups
2 reckless driving

4 road obstructions

LCSD made three arrests for disorderly conduct.
University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
4 traffic stops
1 intoxicated person – EMS called
1 suspicious person
1 suspicious vehicle
1 larceny
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
7:21 a.m. – Barnard Hall – cutting concrete activated a smoke detector
8:52 a.m. – Coulter Hall – Roof air handling unit detector malfunction
10:26 a.m. – ATO house – 1st floor smoke detector malfunction
2:47 p.m. – Robert Khayat Law School – attic heat duct detector activation
3:47 p.m. – RedMed Urgent Care – smoke detector malfunction
7 p.m – Phi Kappa Psi house – basement fire alarm pull station malfunction
11:14 p.m. – 701 Cearbrook #1103 – lightening struck causing a small fire in the attic – extinguished with a water extinguisher (lightening traveled a line to the living room lights)
3:17 this morning – 1101 Frontage – medical call – EMS already on scene
