Chick-Fil-A on Jackson Ave. saw several children, teens, and adults dressed in spotted black and white attire as they participated in the 14th annual “dress like a cow to get a free entree” event. The free entree promotion lasts until 7 p.m. July 10.
“I love to see both kids and adults dressed up in their spots,” said Chick-fil-A manager Carley Wilkinson. “To be able to watch a kid dance with the Cow and see all the homemade costumes keeps me smiling the whole day.”
Chick-fil-A has named the day “Cow Appreciation Day” to show customers their appreciation and showcase the restaurant’s iconic mascot. More than 1.8 million patrons participated in the event last year at over 2,200 participating Chick-fil-A locations, according to Chick-fil-A’s website.
