*This story was updated June 26 at 12:51 p.m. to reflect a comment from Ole Miss Athletics.
Ole Miss Athletic Director Ross Bjork is on the list of strong potential candidates for the athletic director position at the University of Kansas, according to The Kansas City Star’s post on May 22.
The University of Kansas announced that Sheahon Zenger was let go as athletic director on May 21 by Chancellor Douglas Girod. A press release stated Girod appointed Sean Lester as the interim.
Bjork joins SMU Director of Athletics Rick Hart, Colorado State’s Joe Parker, Central Michigan’s Michael Alford, former Arkansas AD Jeff Long and Oklahoma senior associate AD Kenny Mossman as candidates for the position.
Associate Athletics Director Kyle Campbell told HottyToddy.com in an email that Bjork’s potential candidacy was “not true” and it was a “bad rumor.”

Is it significant that bjork himself did not deny it?
If he really committed to ole miss, why didn’t bjork say that?
He may be gone. Let’s hope so.
