LHS Teacher Being Investigated for Improper Conduct
A Lafayette High School female teacher is being investigated by Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department for improper conduct with students.
Lafayette County Sheriff Chief Investigator Alan Wilburn confirmed there is an open investigation but he would not confirm the suspect’s name at this time.
Wilburn said a probable cause hearing will be held in the next couple of days before a Lafayette County Circuit Court judge to determine if enough evidence exists to issue a warrant.
It’s the warrant process used when allegations of misconduct are brought against a figure of authority, such as a teacher or law enforcement officer.
