New Ole Miss coaches Matt Luke (football) and Kermit Davis (men’s basketball) headline the speakers next week, as the seventh-annual BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip launches its 13-stop caravan on Sunday (April 22).

The series of fan meetings will also feature Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Ross Bjork and Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter along with new women’s hoops coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin for the stops on Wednesday (April 25).

Visit www.rebelroadtrip.com for tickets and full details.

Among the destinations out of state next week are Charlotte, Pensacola, New Orleans and Birmingham, while the university leaders will speak to Mississippi crowds in Gulfport, Vicksburg, Indianola, Tupelo, Corinth and Oxford.

In addition, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip (#RRT18) will continue to New York City, Jackson (MS) and Memphis this summer. All tolled, the tour will reach seven states this year and three new destinations (Charlotte, Pensacola and NYC).

“As it has in the past, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip is going to provide an excellent platform to introduce our new coaches and personally thank Rebel Nation for its unwavering support,” said Kyle Campbell, Ole Miss associate athletics director for communications. “We look forward to once again partnering with the Alumni Association and connecting with our fans, not only locally, but in some of our nation’s largest markets.”

In addition to the speakers, the meetings include autograph sessions, photo booths, official merchandise, commemorative posters, an exciting video look at the university and information tables for the Athletics Foundation and the Alumni Association. There will also be photo opportunities with the Egg Bowl trophy.

In its first six years, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip has visited 37 markets and nearly 22,000 fans. The tour has touched seven states and such major metropolitan cities as Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Little Rock and Nashville, among others.
