Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two 911 hang up, two alarms, ambulance assist, two disturbing the peace, elderly assist, two fire department assist, two motorists assist, two petit larcenies, public drunk, recovered property, scam, simple assault, suspicious activity, suspicious person, utility call out, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated six accident, tickets and made the following arrests:

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, four alarms, animal complaint, harassment, two service calls, five welfare concerns, three transports, two information, two follow up, traffic complaints, reckless driving, two road obstructions, three civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made three arrests
Warrants for burglary of dwelling, felon in possession of firearm
Grand Larceny
Writ to take custody
Oxford Fire Department:
07:03 – 1205 Pleasant Dr. – stove fire
12:04 & 15:07 – The Flats Bldg. 14 – calls canceled
15:42 – Anderson Rd. and West Jackson Ave. – wreck with injuries – stood by for EMS
19:39 – Kappa Delta House #6 – smoke detector malfunction
21:33 – 603 Tyler Ave. – bedroom smoke detector had water leaking into it activating it
03:34 – Stewart Hall – 7th-floor stair smoke detector malfunction
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Improper equipment, speeding, running a stop sign, accident property damage, ambulance needed.
