Diamond Rebels Hire Chris Goudoras to Staff
Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco named Chris Goudoras Coordinator of Operations – Internal Affairs.
Goudoras comes to the Rebels after being a former staff member of the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets organizations. During the 2017 season, he was the TrackMan intern for the Phillies. He also simultaneously served as a Senior Video Scout for Baseball Info Solutions. With the Phillies, he was responsible for operating TrackMan for all Reading Fightin’ Phils home games as well as assisting the coaching staff with day-to-day analysis and improvement through quantifiable data.
In 2016, Goudaras worked as a video scout for Baseball Info Solutions. With the company, he completed next-day checks of data collected during live games, trained and evaluated first-year scouts, and oversaw the accuracy of pitch-charting data using video and pitch f/x.
Prior to 2017, he interned twice in the New York Mets organization, once with the Brooklyn Cyclones and another with the Binghamton Mets, while at the same time achieving a degree in Economics-Finance at Bentley University, where he graduated in 2015.
With the Mets, Goudoras worked in-depth with the use of video, including videotaping whole games and editing it for use by the front office.
