Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three 911 hang-ups, two alarms, ambulance assist, animal complaint, careless driving, cyberstalking, disturbing the peace, two harassing phone calls, K9 search, littering, motorist assist, two shoplifting, two suspicious activity, suspicious vehicle, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated five accident, 67 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 2nd, careless driving, Possession of Marijuana in a motor vehicle
DUI 2nd, wrong way on a one way, No Driver’s license, No insurance, switched tag
Open container
Public Drunk
Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, alarm, two animal complaints, three disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, juvenile complaint, 17 service calls, three suspicious activities, welfare concern, unauthorized use of vehicle, three fraud, civil matter.
