K9 Search, Suspicious Person, and More in Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Alarm, two ambulance assist, discharging fireworks in the city limits, domestic disturbance, two fire department assist, harassing phone calls, two k9 search, larceny, malicious mischief, other agency assist, petit larceny, suspicious activity, two suspicious persons, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated eight accident, 13 tickets and made the following arrest:
No arrests
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Four accidents, four alarms, commercial burglary, auto burglary, five disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, four service calls, six suspicious activities, welfare concern, six transports, follow up, reckless driving, two civil matters, assist with structure fire.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made three arrests

08:13 – The Rafters – heat duct detector malfunction
14:08 – Newk’s University Ave. – back freezer smoke detector malfunction (again)
