Progressive/electro house producer and DJ Tim Wu—better known by his stage name, Elephante—comes to Oxford next month for a performance at The Lyric on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The doors open at 9 p.m., and the show starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and $15. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21, and a $3 underage fee will be charged for persons under 21.
Based in Los Angeles and hailed as one of electronic dance music’s brightest new stars, Elephante has had a string of No. 1 remixes on Hype Machine, including Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be,” Calvin Harris’ “Summer,” Lorde’s “Team” and Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse.”
His sound combines big-room melodic house with influences from pop, electro, and trap.
Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., Elephante started his music career as a classically trained pianist and singer-songwriter. A graduate of Harvard University, he has played sold-out shows across the country.
