The Ole Miss women’s basketball team heads out west this weekend for an SEC/Pac 12 showdown with the No. 9 Oregon Ducks.
Ole Miss (9-1) is coming off of a 68-59 victory over in-state rival Southern Mississippi on Tuesday. In the victory, the Rebels got 36 combined points out of juniors Alissa Alston (19 points, four assists) and Madinah Muhammad (19 points, four rebounds, three assists).

Ole Miss is also holding its opponents to an average 60.1 points per game (with just one opponent breaking 60 – Troy with 93) and shooting .439 while holding opponents to .320 from the field and a paltry .268 from beyond the arc.
Oregon (8-2) hopes to bounce back after a 90-79 loss to Mississippi State in Starkville on Wednesday. The Ducks were led in scoring by sophomore Ruthy Hebard with 25 points.
On the season, Sabrina Lonescu leads the team in scoring, averaging 16.9 points per contest for Oregon.
Last season, Ole Miss defeated Oregon 83-67 in Oxford. In that game, Ole Miss forced 17 turnovers and received big performances out of Taylor Manuel (22 points) and Madinah Muhammad (18). That win was Ole Miss’ first over a non-SEC ranked team since the Elite Eight 2006-07 team.
