Holiday Marketplace Kicks Off Tonight with Soiree, Continues Saturday at 8 a.m.
The HottyToddy.com Holiday Marketplace returns to The Jefferson on Saturday, Dec. 2, with a diverse collection of exhibitors and wares ranging from fine art and pottery to luxury household items, jewelry, food items and more.
Marketplace hours will be 8 a.m.-4 p.m. An all-day pass costs $7 for individuals and $12 for couples.
A “Preview Soiree” will be held on Friday night, Dec. 1, from 6-9 p.m. for $25 for individuals and $40 for couples. Guests can sip on some “holiday cheer” and browse all 62 exhibitors’ booths without having to fight Saturday’s crowds.
Items will range from artistic birdhouses from Rodney Claxton Designs and silver, bronze and freshwater pearl jewelry from Jewelry by Tara to handmade luxury soaps by Rob Cosgrove and Debra Lewis and kiss-proof, long-wearing lipsticks from Lipsense.
Looking to add a few extra Christmas calories to your diet? Oxford-based The Cookie Canvas, founded by Sarah Hutto, offers a variety of vintage-inspired Christmas cookies. Lionel Land, the Cake Guy from Tupelo, will offer “Cake N-A-Jar” and “Cookies N-A-Jar,” which make great holiday gifts for teachers and Christmas stocking stuffers.
Other gift possibilities include the rustic, bohemian-style jewelry of The Original Mermaid, made with iridescent beads that “shimmer like a mermaid’s tail,” and on-trend leather bags, wallets made from antique rug remnants, tunics and sweaters from Caroline Hobbs of Atlanta-based Painted Oyster.
