Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, three animal complaints, careless driving, civil matter, two disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, embezzlement, fire department assist, larceny, public drunk, stolen vehicle, suspicious activity, suspicious vehicle, welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 10 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Careless driving, DUI 1st
Careless driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Public drunk
Shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two alarms, animal complaint, four auto burglaries, residential burglary (CR 104 area), four disturbances, two harassments, malicious mischief, 17 service calls, suspicious activity / persons, welfare concern, scam, three transports, two civil matters, reckless driving, follow up.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests

Oxford Fire Department: 
Chapter room smoke detector malfunction at AOPI House.
Hallway smoke detector malfunction at 609 Audubon Lane.
People stuck on an elevator at the Residential College 2.
Someone pulled a fire alarm as a prank at the Hub Bldg. 4.
