Grass Higher Than 12 Inches, DUI And More In This Weekend's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls:911 abuse, 17 alarms, three ambulance assist, animal complaint, careless driving, seven disturbing the peace, grass higher than 12 inches, larceny, motorist assist, four noise violations, two residential burglary, scam, shoplifting, five suspicious activity, seven suspicious persons, suspicious vehicle, utility call out, eight welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated 12 wrecks, issued 26 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Alcohol possession by minor
Careless driving, no driver’s license
DUI 1st, careless driving
Two DUI 1st, speeding
No liability insurance, careless driving, DUI 1st
Two Possession of paraphernalia, Disturbing the peace
Public drunk, possession of fake ID
Four public drunks
Trespassing
Warrant served, no seatbelt, no driver’s license
Two warrants served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Five accidents, nine alarms, two animal complaints, commercial burglary, residential burglary, eight disturbances, two domestic violence, petit larceny, two harassment, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, 23 service calls, seven suspicious activities, four welfare concerns, two transports, follow up, four reckless driving, five civil matters, traffic stop.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made four arrests
no driver’s license, careless driving, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle
disorderly conduct, resisting arrest
child support writ
domestic violence, simple assault

Friday
