Domestic Disturbance, Shoplifting And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls:Abusing 911, six alarms, four animal complaints, burglary, two careless driving, two civil matters, four disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, two forgery, two information reports, lost property, motorist assist, noise violation, petit larceny, reported gun shots, simple assault, three suspicious activity, suspicious vehicle, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 12 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Minor in possession of a fake ID
Minor in possession of alcohol
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Public drunk, open container, warrant served
Three shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, alarm, auto burglaries, two disturbances, two petit larceny, two malicious mischief, nine service calls, three suspicious activities, four welfare concerns, scam, two transports, information, follow up, traffic complaint, reckless driving.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests
Possession of paraphernalia
Trespass less than larceny warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
Thursday’s fire report will be released on Monday.
University Police: Public drunk, three vehicle stops, vandalism to vehicle, assist with traffic.
