End Of All Music's Record Of The Month Club Releases June Pick

The End Of All Music record store on North Lamar Blvd. in Oxford, Miss. offers a unique opportunity for people looking to grow their vinyl collection. The Record of the Month Club, founded in Feb. 2015 by store owner David Swider, supplies new and used vinyl records for locals and out-of-towners. 
Club members receive a new record each month chosen by Swider through a monthly
subscription. He selects records from every genre and era to fit the season.
The June Record of the Month is Seafaring Strangers: Private Yacht from the reissue label out of Chicago, Numero Group. This record features 20 tracks from various artist plus each club member will receive a promotional poster from Numero Group.
“I think all of the records Numero Group puts out are special,” Swider said. “They really put in the time and effort to only release the best stuff. Numero Group also always includes excellent liner notes and great packaging with their releases.”
Swider picked the Seafaring Strangers: Private Yacht record because he felt it was a great summer record.
“I expect most folks will be surprised by the pick but then grow to really dig it, which is the whole point of being in the Record of the Month Club,” Swider said.
Subscribers have grown to appreciate the randomness of the records. Subscriber Via Fortier looks forward to receiving a new record each month and adding to her collection.
“Record people like other record people,” Fortier said. “Each time I get a new record I get to share it with my friends who appreciate it too. David has opened that door up to us through the club.”
