Oxford Police Department Hosts 4th Annual Fun Day Saturday
The Oxford Police Department will host its fourth annual ‘Fun Day’ on May 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Oxonians can enjoy a fun day at the Oxford Police Department and meet members of the police force, SWAT team, fire department and many more.
There will be face painting, hay rides, a dunking booth and much more. There will also be hands-on learning experiences with members of the K-9 Unit, SWAT team, Lafayette Sheriff Department and Oxford Fire Department.
“It’s just a fun day for us and the community to interact,” said Bridgett Frierson, the communications supervisor at OPD. “We’ll have hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn… it’s all free.”
