Weather Pushes SEC Softball Tournament Back To Saturday
Due to inclement weather in the Knoxville area Friday afternoon, all SEC Tournament Semifinal action has been postponed to Saturday.
The Rebels and Crimson Tide were scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET Friday, but lightning was detected right as the two teams took the field, and rain eventually moved in, forcing unplayable conditions for the remainder of the day.
Ole Miss and Alabama will now play the semifinal game at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT on SEC Network, with the winner advancing to the SEC Tournament Championship, which remains as scheduled for 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT Saturday night on ESPN. That game will feature the winner of Alabama/Ole Miss and Auburn/LSU.

Semifinal #1 | 11 a.m. ET: No. 8 seed Ole Miss vs. No. 5 seed Alabama (SEC Network)
Semifinal #2 | 2 p.m. ET: No. 6 seed LSU vs. No. 2 seed Auburn (ESPN2)
Championship | 8 p.m. ET: Winners of two semifinals (ESPN)
