Domestic Violence, Trespassing And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: ambulance assist, two domestic disturbances, malicious mischief, animal complaint, credit card fraud, welfare concern, three suspicious person, civil matter, four alarm, disturbing the peace, suspicious activity.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
2 Warrant Served
Suspended Driving License and Out of Jurisdiction Warrant Served
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Fake ID and DUI (wreck)
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:  accident, alarm, residential burglary (CR 217), disturbance, domestic violence, grand larceny, juvenile complaint, five service class, two suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, transport, trespassing, three follow up, five information, three reckless driving.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made three arrests

Oxford Fire Department
Using a smoke machine activated the smoke detector at Barnard Hall Room 302.
Smoke detector malfunction at 101 Windstone Dr.
University Police: two suspicious vehicle, three traffic detail, three motor vehicle accident, three vehicle stops, intoxicated person, harassment, disturbance, service call.
