Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: 14 Suspicious Activities, 15 disturbances, 10 welfare concerns, eight noise complaints, three motorist assists, auto burglary — South Lamar, Fire Dept. assist, three petit larcenies, ten illegally parked cars, 13 alarms, two civil matters, animal complaint, two ambulance assists, three simple assaults, eight reported DUI drivers, code violation, house burglary — Windstone Drive, Stalking, two complaints of lost property, ID Theft, trespassing, harassing phone calls, 911 hang up.
Oxford police investigated 12 wrecks, issued 115 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI

4 Possessions of Drug Paraphernalia
Shoplifting
Speeding & Possessions of Drug Paraphernalia
2 Noise Violations
3 Public Intoxications
Public Intoxication & Possession of Fake ID
Simple Assault
No Driver’s License & DUI
Careless Driving & Possessions of Drug Paraphernalia
No Seatbelt & Possessions of Drug Paraphernalia
Littering & DUI
One Headlight, Possession of Marijuana & DUI
2 Petit Larcenies
Petit Larceny & Possession of Schedule 4 Narcotics
Careless Driving, No Insurance & Schedule 1 Narcotics
Fake ID
Improper Equipment, No Insurance & DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:  three accidents, simple assault, six alarms, five animal complaints auto burglary, residential burglary, nine disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, 15 service calls, nine suspicious activity, eight welfare concerns, four civil matters, missing person located, six traffic complaint, two credit card fraud, checkpoint arrest.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made five arrest
warrant simple assault
no driver’s license & no insurance
two no driver’s license
no driver’s license & expired tag
warrant petit larceny & simple assault
Oxford Fire Department
Heavy spray of hair spray activated a smoke detector at the Phi Mu House.
Someone pulled a fire alarm as a prank at the Sigma Nu House.
General fire alarm malfunction at Winchester.
Cooking activated a smoke detector at 211 Longest Road.
Public assist at The Connection.
Small fire  beside the building with an oil jug which someone apparently set on fire at 1455 South Lamar Blvd. Gas Station.
University Police: service calls, suspicious vehicle, possession of drugs, housing referral, motor vehicle accident, service call, traffic detail, disturbances, suspicious person.
