Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two suspicious activities, fire department assist, shoplifting, Vehicle Burglary (2000 block of Old Taylor Road), Credit Card Fraud, reported DUI, two welfare concerns, harassing phone call, animal complaint, civil matter, alarm, malicious mischief.
Oxford police investigated Eight wrecks, issued 11 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Expired Tag, No Proof of Liability Insurance and Driving While License Suspended
No Tag, No Proof of Liability Insurance and No Driving License
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: alarm, two animal complaints, commercial burglary (Highway 328), two residential burglaries (Highway 30 East)(CR 107 area), disturbance, domestic violence, grand larceny, two service calls, five suspicious activity, transport, civil matter, two follow ups.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests on the following charge:

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Burned food activated the smoke detector at Canterbury Crest#117.
A canceled call for 265 North Lamar.
Mechanical Room #127 alarm malfunction at the Ole Miss Band Hall.
Attic flow sensor malfunction at the Chi Psi House.
Cooking activated smoke detector at 1029 Augusta Drive.
