Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four open doors, 22 alarms, 11 suspicious activity, three welfare concerns, burglrary, six Malicious Mischief, three Fire Department Assist, four Disturbance, two Ambulance Asist, two Pettit Larceny, two Careless Driving, Run Away Juvenile, Assault, Identity Theft, Abandoned Vehicle, Pandering.
Oxford police investigated 12 vehicle collisions, issued 55 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

Speeding and Out of Jurisdiction Warrant
DUI 1st
Speeding, Expired Tag and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Speeding, Suspended D.L., DUI 1st, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Local Agency Warrant
Shoplifting and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Public Drunk
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Carrying Concealed Weapon
Careless Driving, DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
DUI, No D.L., No Insurance

Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: Seven accidents, ten alarms, five animal complaints, four disturbances, domestic violence, two petit larceny, harassment, malicious mischief, four juvenile complaints, nine service calls, four suspicious activities, four welfare concerns, four civil matters and two reckless driving.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made three arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st
contempt warrant
trespassing/simple assault warrant

1st-floor elevator smoke detector malfunction at 800 Park Bldg. 3.

Rooftop heating unit duct detector malfunction at The Thompson House.
A smoke detector malfunction at Paul B. Johnson Commons loading dock,
Call for an ambulance assists at 106 Colonial Road.
Workers caused a fire alarm activation at the Chancellor’s House Hotel 425 South Lamar
