Ole Miss vs Texas A&M Game Time
Ole Miss (4-5, 1-4 SEC) will face the fourth-ranked Aggies (7-2, 4-2) at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 12. The game will be broadcast by the SEC Network.
The Rebels had a scare in a home game against Georgia Southern, but eventually prevailed 37-27 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. While it ended a losing streak for Ole Miss, the win wasn’t without consequences. Quarterback Chad Kelly injured his knee in the game and will have an MRI on Sunday.

Ole Miss Football: Do You Play Shea Patterson Now?
The Ole Miss football team took its final blow to the 2016 season on Saturday when they lost Chad Kelly, starting quarterback of the Ole Miss Rebels.
Redshirt freshman quarterback Jason Pellerin will be taking the starting snaps against Texas A&M on Saturday, and most likely for the rest of the season.

Ole Miss Women’s Basketball Cruises To Exhibition Win Over Mississippi College
The Ole Miss women’s basketball team used a 19-0 run in the second quarter en route to a 93-40 exhibition win over Mississippi College on Friday night at The Pavilion at Ole Miss.
Erika Sisk (Oxford, Miss.) led a quarter in double figures with 19 points. Taylor Manuel (St. Louis Mo.), Shandricka Sessom (Byhalia, Miss.) and Madinah Muhammad (Chicago, Ill.) joined Sisk in double figures. Sessom also led the way on the glass with seven rebounds.
The Rebels held a 41-13 lead at the halftime break and kept the momentum going in the second half, outscoring the Lady Choctaws a combined 52-27 the third and fourth quarters and held the visitors to just seven fourth-quarter points. For the game, Ole Miss shot 54.0 percent from the field.
The Rebels opened the game with an 11-2 run spearheaded by four points from freshman Shelby Gibson (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) who was one of four newcomers to see action in the exhibition game.
Leading 11-2, the home team forced a steal and scored on a layup from Oxford native Erika Sisk, forcing Mississippi College to call a timeout. Ole Miss managed to hold the Lady Choctaws scoreless for 8:54 while running the scoring to 18-2, while capitalizing on second chance points by holding a 6-2 advantage in the category through one quarter of action.
Mississippi College cut into the deficit with 5-0 spurt to open the second quarter, cutting a once 18-point lead to 10 points at the 7:19 mark, forcing the home team to call a timeout to regroup. The timeout was all the Rebels needed as they rattled off 19 straight points, highlighted by triples from sophomore guard Madinah Muhammad (Chicago, Ill.) and junior guard Sessom pushing the Ole Miss margin to 28 points.
Ole Miss took a 41-13 lead into the halftime break and was led by Sessom with 12 points and Manuel with 10 points while Sessom led the way with four rebounds.

On the win …
“Very, very impressive first time out. Really liked our energy. Really liked our patience offensively. We’re a different team than we’ve been in the past. It’s about being efficient offensively, and tonight we were that. We scored consistently in every quarter because we played consistently, and that’s not what we’ve been in the past. This is a different basketball team than we’ve had in my four years here. It’s a team that’s very talented and I’m really proud of them. Had a good crowd there tonight. It was a good crowd for an exhibition game. We’re real happy about that.”
On the play of the newcomers
“Taylor and Shelby are very talented players who can make plays. All of our newcomers did really well. I was really happy with the minutes Kate Rodgers got there and how she played. Bree Glover played really hard and played really well. Really happy with all of our freshmen. We played tonight without two of our players who could be starters for us. Alissa Alston and Chrishae Rowe are both very talented players, so we still have those two to add to the mix. Really excited about this team and what it can become.”
On improvements to make …
“I will say one negative we had was 21 turnovers, and that’s just us getting careless with the basketball. It’s just nerves. I think we had eight in the first quarter, and it was just nervousness. It’s a process of understanding what’s going on offensively. That’s something that’s very, very important, and it’s something we’ll continue to get better at. As they continue to understand what’s going on offensively in a game setting, turnovers will go down.”
On the play of Erika Sisk …
“First time she’s ever played point guard in her life at this level. I thought she had a great day today. I couldn’t be more proud of how she played. She didn’t force anything. She played her game and played really well.”
Rebel Sidelines
-Today’s game against Mississippi College is the first meeting between the schools since 1989. Ole Miss leads the all-time series 20-7.
-Each of Ole Miss’ freshmen saw game action today as did graduate transfer, Taylor Manuel.
-Had tonight’s stats counted, Erika Sisk flirted with a triple double with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals.
-Assistant coach George Porcha made his debut on the Ole Miss sidelines. Ole Miss newest assistant comes to Ole Miss from the high school ranks but spent six years at West Virginia including time as associate head coach.
