Oxford police responded to the following calls: Five suspicious activities, disturbing the peace, three welfare concerns, improper parking, domestic disturbance, four alarms, fire department assist, shoplifting, two animal complaints, one vehicle burglary (13th Street), two suspicious vehicles, embezzlement, simple assault, two reported DUIs, larceny, report of lost property
Oxford police investigated Six vehicle collisions, issued 20 traffic citations, and made three arrests on the following charges:
Possession of a Fake ID and Public Drunk
DUI
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: Two alarms, animal complaint, disturbance, juvenile complaint, service call, two suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, transport, civil matter, follow up
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests on the following charges:
Harassing phone calls
Family disturbance
University police responded to the following incidents: Vehicle stop, moving violation (Careless driving, suspended license, not implied consent), malicious mischief at J.D. Williams Library, petit larceny at Residential College, vehicle accident at Hathorn Road (MOVING VIOLATION – Suspended License; Not implied consent), Vehicle accident – hit and run – at music building, vehicle accident – hit and run – at Brown Hall
