Georgia Fan Came Out With A Win Saturday In The Grove

The Grove is a magical place… so magical, in fact, that many people propose there. Just think about the atmosphere, family, and friends around. Who wouldn’t propose there?

Kristin Warner was proposed to at the Georgia game in a place that she called home for four years. She recently graduated from Ole Miss and her fiancé is a Georgia fan. It couldn’t have been any more perfect!

Kristin said, “I came out with a win, win Saturday!”

Kristen Warner and Adam Nix have known each other since 7th grade when Adam moved to Southaven, Mississippi in 2007.

Kristen told HottyToddy.com:

“He walked me home one day, and it just so happened to be spirit week. I was wearing my white Ole Miss jersey, and he stopped me under a huge tree by my home and asked me to kiss him. I actually said ‘no’ and walked away. But even still today, he remembered what I was wearing, and I catch heat from time to time for not taking that kiss 9 years ago.  However, throughout the years he remained a great friend of mine, even after we graduated high school. I finally realized how much Adam truly meant to me, how genuine of a heart he had, what great qualities he possessed, and during the summer before my senior year at Ole Miss, we began dating. He has been by my side through every major milestone.”

As soon as the 2016 football schedule was released, they decided they were going to attend the Georgia game.
Adam is from Albany, Georgia. Kristen is from Southaven, Mississippi. So, you can imagine what football teams they were raised to love.
About a month ago, they talked about getting married, and he even went as far as asking her what kind of ring she would want. But, she had no idea his intentions were to propose at the Georgia game.
When they got to the Grove early Saturday morning, he asked her if they could go meet his cousin, Rob Riley (who was also a student at Ole Miss), at the “statue.” He acted like he had no idea where it was and asked her to take him there, so she did.
They were standing at the statue catching up with his cousin and that is when Adam asked Rob to take their picture. They took a normal picture; she thought nothing about it. But Adam quickly turned toward her, and told her how much he loved her. He got down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand, and he asked her to be his wife.
Except this time, she did not say no.. she said YES (while crying of course).

Kristen told HottyToddy.com:
“I would not trade his proposal for anything in this entire world. He knew Oxford was my home for four years and he knew how much I love Ole Miss. And although he is a Georgia fan and Georgia sadly lost the game, we both agree that we came out with a win on Saturday. I am so blessed and thankful Adam chose me to be his forever.”

A big congratulations from everyone at HottyToddy.com!
