Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 66 traffic citations and made 13 arrests on the following charges:

Speeding, Driving While License Suspended
Minor in Possession of Alcohol (post arrest)
Public Drunk
Public Drunk and Possession of a Fake ID
One Headlight and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Following Too Close, Driving While License Suspended (Implied Consent Law) and Warrant Served
Noise Violation (post arrest)
Trespassing
Seatbelt Violation and Minor in Possession of Alcohol (post arrest)
Speeding, No Liability Insurance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: An accident, an alarm, residential burglary (CR 411, unoccupied), two disturbances, harassment, three juvenile complaints, malicious mischief, five service calls, suspicious activity, welfare concern, scam, transport, civil matter, six follow-ups, unauthorized use of vehicle
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made zero arrests
University police responded to the following incidents: Seven vehicle stops, assist with traffic, petit larceny at University Circle
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Female had hand stuck between console and seat at 10:03 a.m. on the Out Bus at 409 McElroy Drive
Smoke detector malfunction at 1:22 p.m. in managers office at 1006 East Jackson Ave
Smoke detector activation at 3:12 p.m. due to #214 cleaning carpet at Townhouse Suites by Marriot
Wreck at 5:30 p.m. on Hwy. 6 West/Thacker Loop – no entrapment
