Ole Miss Falls to FSU in Orlando
The No. 11 Ole Miss Rebels were defeated by the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles 34-45 in the Camping World Kickoff Monday Night. Leading 28-6 at halftime, FSU scored 33 unanswered points to capture a come-from-behind win over the Rebels.
Ole Miss finally scored a touchdown, but it was too little too late in the Labor Day showdown. For FSU it was the largest comeback victory in school history as it overcame a 22-point deficit.

419 yards and also ran for 59. Dalvin Cook accounted for 192 yards (101 receiving, 91 rushing), and Jesus Wilson hauled in nine passes for 125 yards. Freshman kicker Ricky Aguayo made a school-record six field goals to account for 18 points.
Sophomore DB Zedrick Woods led the team in tackles with a career-high 11. His previous high was four at Mississippi State last year.
Ole Miss starting cornerback Ken Webster appeared to have a gruesome left knee injury during the open driving. He was carted off the field.
On his first carry of the game, Rebels running back Eric Swinney left the game due to left knee injury.
During a post-game press conference, Ole Miss Coach Hugh Freeze said, “There was a definite momentum swing in the third quarter.”
The Rebels return home Saturday afternoon (Sept. 10) for their first game in the renovated and expanded Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
Ole Miss will host Wofford at 3 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
