Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three disturbances, three illegally parked cars, two alarms, Fire Department assist, animal complaint, welfare concern, reported public intoxicant, motorist assist, two scams, reported DUI Driver, four code violations (three trash accumulations and one parking in a yard), suspicious activity

Oxford police investigated 13 wrecks, issued 82 traffic citations, and made 10 arrests on the following charges:

Expired Tag, No Insurance, No Driver’s License and Warrant Served

Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents:  accident, aggravated assault, six alarms, animal complaint, three disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, two service calls, two suspicious activities, welfare concern, scam, two transports, four civil matters, follow up, traffic complaint

Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrests on the following charges:
Aggravated assault
Family disturbance, possession of paraphernalia, 911 abuse

University police responded to the following incidents:  Two vehicle stops, suspicious person, disturbance, possession of alcohol at Crosby Hall, service call, two public drunk

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Fire alarm malfunction at 8:09 a.m. at The Inn At Ole Miss
Smoke detector activation at 10:53 a.m. due to workers sanding sheet rock at 620 North Lamar Blvd.
Smoke detector activation at 11:24 a.m. due to failure to turn on the vent-a-hood while cooking at Country Club of Oxford
Fire alarm malfunction at 8:26 p.m. at 100 Azalea Drive
Smoke Detecter malfunction at 8:50 p.m. at Jackson Avenue Center
