OXFORD, Miss – As students head back to class for the fall semester, HottyToddy.com has unveiled a newly designed website.

With more and more users accessing the Web using mobile devices, iPads, and other tablets, site designers focused on elements that created a mobile-friendly experience.

“We knew we were due for a site update, and we took the time to do it right,” said Allison

Allison Buchanan
Allison Buchanan, CEO of New Media Lab, LLC.

Buchanan, CEO of New Media Lab, LLC, parent company of HottyToddy.com. “It is clean, visually appealing, fast and very mobile-responsive. We look forward to ‘upping the engagement level’ of our content with this new site’s many options.”

Features include easily-navigable photo and video galleries as well as articles readers can easily share with others or on social media or email.

HottyToddy.com provides news, stories, and information to a growing number of readers every day. Over the past year, there have been almost 2 million unique readers from all over the world. The site also had over 10 million page views in the past year and has over 100,000 followers on various social media platforms.

With this many readers who were used to the old site, Buchanan says it was important that the design maintains some familiar elements, too.

HottyToddy.com encourages readers to make an icon for the site on the home screen of their mobile devices. The new site is responsive, so in essence, it functions as an app.

“We tried to keep a connection to the arrangement of the previous site so it would not be completely different for our avid readers,” said Buchanan. “We always love hearing from our readers, so if you have ideas to make our site better, your feedback is always welcome. Please email us.”
